Your greens are harvested the day they’re delivered. So they keep longer, and you get the most nutrients possible.
Why Microgreens?
Microgreens are young tender herbs and vegetables harvested just above the soil line. They’re like sprouts, but grow for a few extra days so they can green up, and develop more complex nutrients and flavours.
They’re a really convenient way to add some colour and flavour. Throw a few on the side of your dinner plate, or use them in a sandwich or wrap.
Vertical Farming in an Urban Setting
By growing vertically instead of horizontally, we need way less space, so we can grow in denser urban areas. This means less transportation, and fresher greens because we can harvest hours before delivery.
We also use an estimated 90% less water than traditional farming and our urban location drops our food-miles to close to zero.
